A letter from a grateful mum
I just wanted to say what a cool kids album you have put together. I bought a copy for my 1 year old for Christmas, and have also bought a 2nd to take across the Tasman for my new niece-to-be so that she gets to listen to some good old Kiwi music in Oz. I love all the tracks on the album and I was a Mum that was cringing at the music that was available for kids, and avoiding the ‘standard’ music sessions offered. Your music was a breath of fresh air!
As for Wonkey Donkey, I still don’t know how you strung all those lyrics together without messing them up – I can only manage about the first 3 lines! And I only just made the connection that the book by the same title is yours too (thought it was too much of a coincidence!), so I’ll have to get a copy of that too!
Keep up the great work and I hope there will be another kids album in the pipeline…

I wanted to work on this book as it's a song that my mum used to sing to me when I was a little boy. Words written by Don Gardner but I sing them on the cd located in the back of the book AND we've added a "bonus track" ... my song "Toothless" as well as a track sung completely in monkey by yours truely.
