craigHi Lily-jean. Ashtons are a great guitar... especially
for learning. I have 3 guitars but I can only play one at
a time :0). Yes I have some new ideas for some new kids
songs, hopefully I'll get them recorded on a new album
sometime. Good luck.

thank you for the chords and advice. How many guitars do
you have and what kind? my guitar is a ashton? are you
thinking of writing a new childrens song?
sueHi Craig
Thank you for your music today at the Riccarton Market.
You have become my compulsory time out on any given
Sunday. I still don't know the name of the song that I
waited for before I headed off today, but the lyrics are
truly beautiful, and the delivery equalled them. I
noticed from your upcoming gig section on this site, that
today has been a big one, ending in a pivate function at
Jack Flash.Vietnam and Canada will sound like heaven
after that sort of day .Interesting choices?
I'll look forward to your music at the market when you
return. I hope you enjoy your holiday. Sue.
craigps, the chords for sandfly song are G, D, Em, C, and then
G, D, G

Kaha the Kea is E,A, B7th
craigHi Lily-jean. I'm so glad you like my cd. The advice I
have for you is that you should keep your guitar out of
it's case and near where you spend alot of time. ie, in
the lounge {keep it behind the couch where it's safe for
eg} , if your parents can stand it, when the adds come on
tv you can hit the mute button and practice. If the adds
are 5 mins long it doesn't take much for you to end up
practicing for 20-30 mins a night. With this much
practice you'll see a huge improvement in your playing...
good luck

CraigTo the merrix family.Thank you so much for your wonderful
comments... so nice to hear back that my music makes a
difference, no matter how small... it's comments like
yours that inspire me to continue writing with confidence
and a smile.Regards, Craig
The MerrixHey we bought the 'Not just for kids' album from you @
Riccarton on our honeymoon, after hearing Wonkey Donkey.
We gave it to Sam the youngest of our 5 kids (he's 3yrs)
And now EVERYTIME he has a nap or goes down for the night
he HAS to hear Lullaby, which he insists i sing along to
(not sure why..I suck!)Then I let it play from the start.
It keeps him in bed long enough to fall asleep...So thanx
heaps,Turns out All 5 kids love the album so YES we will
be buying your next one , for sure...Cheers
EmilyWow, that's coming up fast! Not sure I'll be there or not
yet...perhaps July...I can email you a contact list etc.
for Vancouver/Victoria venues though. Keep me posted!
